Northern Cambria State Champions

Post by zonebreaker »

Northern Cambria dominated Nativity BVM, 25-11, 25-11, 25-10 in the semifinals this morning.

Then they defeated defending state champion Holy Name (Reading) 25-14, 30-28, 25-22 to win their second volleyball state championship in 5 years. Over the last 6 years, NC now has 2 state championships and 2 state runners-up. CONGRATS!

I don't follow volleyball but had to get on here to see how they did. What an accomplishment!! dang, where do they get the female athletes that they get at NC. Their track, volleyball, and softball are top notch programs. If only the boys could be so good.
