Joe Biden has been in office 2 weeks. Has he made a public appearance yet? Does he have any foreign relation travel plans? Heck Wall Street and the integrity of our free market was in limbo last week and he didn't even mention it. Pipeline and its tens of thousands of jobs gone. We stopped leasing federal land for mining so our foreign energy reliance is back.

I could literally go to a local Graystone Manor and find people with better physical and mental health to be the President of the United States.

America gets what they vote for. Buckle up.

So many trump supporters made claims that after the election, Covid will magically go away.

Those with brains said, no this is a pandemic it isnt magically going to go away because of politics.

When it doesnt go away like trump supporters thought they say more stupid things like Manfred says above, completely ignoring all the mildly intelligent people saying it wasnt going to magically go away when biden takes office.

WHO announced that PCR testing is creating too many false positives,
So now magic wand wave, new testing will show less cases and Biden fixed it.

Wow. I can't believe I'm actually agreeing with this. Goes with Fauci changing his tune every week.

Trump was a meany. Wasn't "presidential"

Meanwhile:

-ISIS was obliterated in a few months
-Best relationship/peace with the Korean peninsula in 8 decades
-Most peaceful Middle East in 100 years
-Best unemployment numbers of our lifetime
-Best minority and women unemployment numbers of our lifetime
-Most GDP growth in decades
-No more foreign reliance for oil
-NAFTA partners were beginning to pay their fair share
-Trade imbalances with China, Mexico, and many other countries were stabalizing
-Severe reduction in domestic terrorism incidences compared to prior 2 administrations
-Thousands of troops returned from Afghanistan and Iraq

Do you want me to go on? I can make a list twice this size.

I'm also not even a republican. I actually probably have more liberal viewpoints on the majority of issues. Just when I see our country prosper I tend to like it and I don't allow the corrupt media to tell me things are bad when they really are great.

Sorry you didn't enjoy 2016-2020. I was actually an Obama voter that realized "wow, my neighbors are doing way better than they have been and suddenly we don't have endless foreign conflicts" so I voted accordingly.

Once again, abpk, I applaud you. You are able to express the opinion of many of us better than we could.

450k people dead just 1 year after the first covid case in america.

Most economies still cant be open because hospital's ICUs are filled up and yet some people will still say Trump did an amazing job with Covid.

Trump did accomplish some good, but the economy before pandemic was trending that direction during the obama administration, its amazing how all the charts kept the same curve/inclince during Obama's presidency and trumps.

Either way we keep trying to run our country as normal as possible, instead of actually taking a few months to take care of the issue. Countries who handled covid smartly are almost all open at this point, here in america we are rushing to see if we can get 500K deaths by march

People died all over the globe due to COVID. We have a free society so of course cases were a little worse here than other countries. I had family stuck in Cuba for 5 months during covid and if you want to PM me I can tell you about their experience. Let's just say everyone was locked into their homes and if you left you were escorted to jail in their particular town. Of course covid numbers aren't as bad in a place like that. If you think other countries are "opened up" then you must not deal much with international affairs. Every civilized country has limited ICU capacity, limited economies, and travel restrictions.

Blaming Trump for covid response is fair as long as we hold every local and state elected official equally responsible for the deaths that happened in their town, city, and state. That is up to you. You can't blame Trump for 450k deaths nationally though and not hold local mayors and governors accountable for the hundreds if not thousands of deaths that happened due to the policies they have in place in their cities and states.

You can pretend the economy was "on the right track" when Obama left office but GM was building a plant in Mexico, Trane was moving out of the country, mining and drilling industries were decimated, pipe layers were out of work, our steel industry was being outbid by cheaper Mexican products, and so forth. That all hamstrung the economy. Over regulation hamstrung the economy. I am not an economist but I do know that all of my hundreds of clients made more money, paid their employees way more money, grew their business leaps and bounds, and finally dug themselves out of a decade long hole over the last 4 years. You can thank Obama for that, I just didn't see it that way.

To each his own.
