I agree with the tarp. LV softball has a tarp and last year during a playoff game the skies opened up and it poured for about 25 minutes around the 3rd inning. They put the tarp in place, waited until it passed. Removed the tarp and did very little field maintenance, then finished the game. The little league infield next to it was completly saturated and useless. A tarp is a great investment.

Try tomorrow, but moved to Haschak Field in Portage. Tomorrow isn't supposed to be rain.
It ain't over until it's over.

I see Conemaugh Valley listed as a D6A contender but got roughed up by Blacklick Valley 9-3 and Portage 12-0. Injuries?

From the looks of the weather, may be able to get today and Wednesday games in this week. Depends how much it wants to rain tomorrow! I thought last week we maybe wanted to start building an ark when I looked at this weeks forecast.

Update. From the FH Athletics website, it appears the game for today is scheduled for the RANGERS home field.
It ain't over until it's over.

Lots of games today! Should get them in! Richland beat Bedford last night 6-4.

Manfred, I assume that FH and Heights didn't get their game in last night?
Re: 2017 High School Baseball Season
Correct. It was supposed to be tonight, but I received a call in the middle of the afternoon saying it was called again.hitnrun10r wrote:Manfred, I assume that FH and Heights didn't get their game in last night?
