Two years,10 2/3 innings pitched, not on the travel squad. Tuition and room and board at Canisius is $43,454 per year.

Seton Hill can’t be much different price wise, can it?

Not at all.  But he could commute and more importantly as the article says, play.

So despite the recent success of area players - the FH kid to Wake Forest, the Somerset kid to Duke, the Central Cambria kid getting drafted by the Phillies, the PC kid at Pitt, the BC kid to Penn State and not to mention the kids moving on to play in the PSAC, you decide to highlight an article about a kid transferring programs to get more innings. You must be a ton of fun to hang out with.

And yes - we get it: tuition is expensive. Its expensive at any school. But dont fault a kid for wanting to play a sport he loves.

The PSAC probably gets as many kids drafted these days, as whatever conference Canisius is in. If that is what your goal is.

Being on a Division I team sounds great, but I'll take getting a chance to actually play any day.

BTW, with the exception of big-time D1 basketball and football, the parents of every kid who plays a college sport pay so their kid can continue to play.
