They fit 4 of the 5. More than penn state or mich did if you really want to argue it.

The only 1 I see them fitting is your number 2...I would say USC would have been more interesting to watch then either Washington or OSU

Washington played plenty of top 25 teams and won in blowouts.

Usc is only a topic because they ended the year strong but no way deserved a top 4 appearance.

Stanford? Wash state was ranked at the time. Utah?

USC is the only one that should be somewhat considered but they lost to bama by 50 so they got it right
