MLB Postseason

Post by Crimson's Ghost »

Any thoughts heading into the postseason, first time in over 10 years the regular season finished with 3 teams over 100 wins.  A lot of capable teams, it appears.

I'm thinking Cleveland-Cubbies rematch.

Starts tonight with Minnestoa at NY Yankees.

What? No Pirates? I -told- you they would struggle to get anywhere near .500. So Huntington & Hurdle got raises for that. And Cutch is STILL on the market.
It ain't over until it's over.

With no Kang and Marte missing half the season, it just seemed they never really got going.

I think after they had a 4 game sweep of the Cardinals after the all star break they cut the deficit to 2 games but never got any closer.

They certainly slept walk through most of September except for the final week they decided to play decent, and probably cost themselves a better draft pick in the process

Baseball needs a cubs vs indians rematch. What they could live with is dodgers vs yankees or red sox.

What they fear, Twins vs Diamondbacks

I would love to watch Twin/Indians vs Diamondbacks. I would hate anything else.

I'm rooting for anyone but Chicago personally. They went from "lovable losers" to annoying real quick.
