Re: Steelers
For all we know Tomlin could be doing the amazing job of keeping it together for so long? Maybe in reality an average coach would of not been able to handle the lockeroom 3 or 4 years ago but Tomlin somehow kept most things on track.
Re: Steelers
Again, one can believe what they want...….but where there is smoke there is fire. And when multiple players are talking about lack of discipline, loss of the locker room, there is something to it. If you want to "for all we know" Konjo…….then for all we know Tomlin may not have wanted to release any of those players that you made mention of...….for all we know those were strictly front office decisions that he didn't agree withkonjo78 wrote:For all we know Tomlin could be doing the amazing job of keeping it together for so long? Re: Steelers
All im saying is according to these "sources" the issues were as far back as 5 plus seasons ago. If things were that bad with players for 5 seasons it takes a remarkable coach to keep things together for that long

Re: Steelers
Steelers have had these kind of antics that extend well beyond Tomlin. Same thing went on under Cowher and Noll.

Re: Steelers
Coming back to the situation here with brown, tomlin, ben and how the steelers were handling everything Im amazed that pittsburgh were able to keep brown on the field and producing like he did for so many years.
Now its looking like the raiders are going to suspend/move on from him before week 1 starts. Makes me in a way appreciate tomlin a whole lot more as a coach.

Think Brown has serious CTE. He was never this crazy until Burfict hit him in the head.

Re: Steelers
Maybe, it is sad to see someone who was on track to be an all time great just implode.
Re: Steelers
Even if the Raiders do nothing to punish him, which is a very likely scenario, shouldn't the NFL step in and administer some sort of punishment for the racial epitaph AB threw towards Mayock? I'm 100% certain they would if the situation were reversed.

Re: Steelers
Idk how the NFL doesnt step in now or how the raiders can let this slide. I doubt Gruden let him record this convo so he can put it out like this. What he is doing, its detrimental to the raiders and the whole league. He may be the 1st diva banned/suspended by just being a PR nightmare
