Steelers
Steelers have now won 5 in a row, and they just smoked a pretty good Carolina team 52-21. Defense looks pretty good, haven't given up more than 21 during this five game winning streak.
Roethlisberger is top 5 in passing.
Conner is the NFL's second leading rusher.
Antonio Brown and JuJu are both in the top 15 in receiving.
Defensively, TJ Watt is having a great year. Heyward is solid. Secondary is playing better since they demoted Artie Burns. Hilton is playing really well.
This is a well constructed team, when they are clicking - they are as good as anyone.

Re: Steelers
Having said all that, the 17-13 loss to Jacksonville next week is very possible. This team is always good for one of those.

Unfortunately they have a tendency to play down to their opponents. But hopefully Ben remembers last years struggles against a solid secondary and gets revenge.

Re: Steelers
I heard someone bring up a great point about Ben on TV today. When he is playing at his best, no one is better that him in NFL history. He has the most 500 yard games, he has the most perfect passer rating games, and he may be tied with or even have the most 6 TD games. Now Ben and the Steelers are not always in this type of high level, which is the main issue. If they be that consistent on offense in any game they will win no questions asked, but can they do that?

I’m worried that the impending return of 26 will shake up the positive dynamic in the locker room. This team is clicking on all cylinders right now. What’s going to happen when 26 brings his personal circus aboard? While I won’t pretend he couldn’t make the team better, I honestly wish he’d just sit out the rest of the season. And for the record, I don’t fault LB for going after what he feels he deserves. I do however think he was unfair to his teammates in his he handled his hold out and I truly believe he was given some bad advice. I don’t see anyway he makes up the money lost in his new contract, unless that team is really foolish.

Re: Steelers
The Steelers are always a circus. AB is getting speeding tickets, flipping off cameras and scoring long touchdowns. They are the craziest team in the league with a lot of personalities but when they are rolling, it doesn’t matter.
Not sure what 26 does to that team. But if Conner is actually hurt, they’d be better off with Bell than Ridley, that’s for sure.

Re: Steelers
You can't get ready to play an NFL game on a day or 2 notice. Playing pickup hoops in N. Allegheny doesn't make you ready to play after 3 months absence. Sit his **** on the bench and move on with Ridley & Samuels.
It ain't over until it's over.
