College football playoff race: Who do you think should get in?
First we know my partial beliefs but this week opened the door in a new way I feel. Interested in what everyone things but below i will list my 7 teams I feel are still in the race and what they need to happen to be in the field.
1. Alabama - simply put winning against Georgia. If they lose theyll need other top 7 teams to lose to find their way in. (IMO)
2. Norte Dame - Already locked in. 0 reason why they should be excluded with an undefeated seasom and no games left.
3. Clemson - Beat pitt and they are in, lose and they are out unless all other top 7 teams lose.
4. UCF - This is all my belief they are undefeated and if you have a season end with 4 undefeated teams the let all 4 in. All they need to do for me is beat memphis, lose and they are out for sure.
5. Georgia - Win and in, lose and go home
6. Oklahoma - They need to beat texas and hope clemson or ucf loses.
7. Ohio State - They need to beat NW and hope that out of clemson, oklahoma and ucf two of them lose. For me their 29pt loss puts them the furthest out of the teams so they need the most help

Alabama, ND, Clemson & OSU are all in (assuming they win their conference championship). There is no way that a big ten school is not in the playoff, especially OSU. I don’t agree but that’s what I believe will happen.

OSU? Beats a Md. squad by 1 that PSU crushed by 20 something yesterday. But beating U Mich was sweet.
It ain't over until it's over.

I think Alabama makes it no matter what. Notre Dame is in. Georgia is in with a win. Clemson is in with a win. I think Ohio State needs to win convincingly in Indy over Northwestern. Oklahoma is still lingering. The final four will come from those six teams.

Crimson that alabama thing is something that worries me but I also think is true.
For me I just cant get by the 29 point loss Ohio state had and the OT maryland game. But i do think people are correct about the big ten and $$$ going to hell get ohio state in

And I'm not sure I have a problem with Alabama getting in with a loss. A loss is a loss, and people get penalized more for losses down the stretch. If Bama lost to Georgia in September, they'd still be 12-1. It shouldn't matter when it happens IMO. I think teams that lose early get too many benefits of the doubt sometimes.

If you dont win your conference you shouldnt be able to qualify period!!!
We already have a invisible barrier that 5 conferences are miles ahead of the rest we do not need a new barrier that one conference should always get 2 teams in, which would start to become a precedent for SEC if bama loses and gets in.

Alambama is in no matter what the way the dominated almost everybody this year. Clemson is in if the win the ACC. Notre Dame is locked. Last spot goes in this order. Georgia if the win. Next Oklahoma is they avenge their loss to Texas. Finally Ohio State if they win. I think OSU is a better team then OU but OSU has a worse loss and OU has more quality wins simply based off of ranked teams they have played.

Alabama is clearly a top 4 team no matter what they do on Saturday. It should be about getting the top 4 teams in the field.konjo78 wrote:If you dont win your conference you shouldnt be able to qualify period!!!
