I have absolutely no trouble sleeping. I'm sure upcoming games with Indiana, Rutgers and Minnesota (which will lose it's last 4 games) will BOLSTER Penn State's SOS. This certainly will jump them into the end of year SOS top 5, right? And Sagarin currently has Pitt's SOS at 35.

Well because you say so it must be gospel.  Good to hear you sleep well.

Who has Clemson played? Who has Bama played? Who has Ohio State played? You could literally make the same argument against them as you could Penn State. It will all sort itself out in the end

BUT, will Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama be undefeated at the end of the regular season? If so, then it really won't matter who they played. But it WILL matter for teams with one loss. Then those 11-1 teams will have to fight for that last spot, and SOS will mean a lot.

SOS is such garbage because it changes every week, you could play a team that’s ranked top 10 week 1 and by the end that team is 6-6. SOS means nothing, that’s why Alabama makes it in most years it’s 11-1, even though SEC has been bad. It’s all about who you lost to and when you lost to them. You could lose week 1 to an FCS school and get in if you win out but lose to a power 5 team week 12 and you’re out with just 1 loss.

That's what Sagarin does. He takes everything into consideration every week, not the BIAS used by the voters in AP and Coaches Polls. And really, when was the SEC bad? Just ask PSU in last year's bowl game.

Remember the big to-do when a PSU alumnus criticized the "hair-style" of a player on the team? Made all the national headlines. Remember when a PSU player spit a loogie on a Michigan State player during a game and was thrown out? Not a lot was said about that in the press after it happened. Now, according to Yahoo sports, QB Sean Clifford has been receiving death threats and tough-to-read explicit messages since the Minnesota loss. Where's all the uproar about that? Funny how PSU fans can have a fit about someone disliking a player making a fashion statement, but not say much when fellow fans threaten a young man because he played poorly in a game.
