Was that for everybody or just the black right fielder?

Difference between having a no beard policy team-wide and a guy writing a college student telling him his hair looks bad.

Re: Had to be from Johnstown
Jake Zembic had a career ending Injury last year and Is no longer a player but now a graduate assistant coach. The chains you see him wearing are actually all of the players chains on the team. It started as a joke with a few of them giving him their chains to wear while they play and now literally the whole team brings him a chain to wear weekly. I fully understand why you're bringing him up, just wanted to clarify what his deal was.abpk2903 wrote:What about the reserve white QB that stands on the sidelines with $20,000 of “bling” around his neck. Did he get a letter?
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
I'm aware of Jake's situation on the team but I should have been more clear. Maybe here are some better examples. The letter spoke about the "long hair and tattoos." Well did Blake Gillikin get the same letter? He has a mullet that extends 4 inches past the bottom of his helmet. Did they write to Trace McSorley last year? He has multiple large tattoos that are visible.

Let's review what happened. After the Idaho game, Mike Petersen wrote a letter to Jonathan Sutherland calling his hair awful, that it was disgusting and not attractive. It could have ended there. BUT, Sutherland's teammate Antonio Shelton posted on Twitter (for all the world to see), "My teammate received this letter. Explain to ME how this isn't racist". Everybody gets criticized for different things. Every actress who walks the red carpet in a fancy dress risks being criticized by those who don't like how she looks. Sutherland should have applied the law of Sticks and Stones, and sloughed it off. But his buddy (Shelton) woke a sleeping giant by opening his mouth. Leave well enough alone. If Shelton zips his lip, everything would have been copasetic at this point.
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
Why should he have to “zip his lips?”
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
This is what happens when you stick your nose in other people's business. If your buddy tells you that he thinks his wife is cheating on him, should you broadcast it over the internet?

Re: Had to be from Johnstown
Dave Petersen was probably the one that should have zipped his lips, if we’re gonna go that route.
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
What if you a guy that you don’t know from 100 miles away mails you a a letter that your buddy’s wife may be cheating? Then you show the letter to a teammate. What’s the protocol then?
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
The title of this topic “had to be from Johnstown” is a bit misleading since Johnstown is the pretty much the only town or city in Districts 5 and 6 that you could even refer to as culturally diverse.
