Absolutety right. Yet Shelton (Sutherland' buddy) came right out on twitter and said the writer of the letter was racist. So how does Shelton explain how he can get way with HIS action toward a white player?

Today Penn State issued a one-game suspension for Antonio Shelton for spitting on a Michigan State player during the game last Saturday. He will not play at Minnesota on November 9. PSU had 3 unsportsmanlike penalties vs MSU in the 4th quarter alone that game. James Franklin, however, did not have to apologize to anyone for playing his starting QB the ENTIRE game, including the kneel-down at games end.

Blame the committee, how bad you beat a team is weighted more than who you beat.

It's not the committee's fault who plans a team's schedule. Play a tougher schedule and everything will take care of itself. It makes no sense how badly you beat someone to rise in the polls. If so, everyone would play cupcakes as often as possible.

I'm not sure the point you are making, as usual.  Penn State currently has the 8th toughest strength of schedule and that doesn't include games against 8-0 Minnesota, 6-2 Indiana, and 8-0 Ohio State down the stretch.  Chances are very high that Penn State will finish the season with one of the 5 toughest schedules in the country.  Also, not sure why you would take out your starters in a 3 score game down the stretch.  With the weather conditions, you are a wet ball fumble away from letting them right back into the game.   Must be miserable hating Penn State this year.  They are pretty darn good through 10 weeks.

What's my point? Yes, they were a wet ball away from a fumble late in the game. But they were also a wet ball away from LOOSING their QB for the season. Imagine Clifford breaking his leg with 3 minutes to go with a 3 TD lead. And tell me, with the weather conditions as they were, how easy was MSU really going to make a comeback with little time left. Wouldn't the vaunted PSU defense step up to save the day? AND according to Sagarin, who has PSU as his top 5 team, PSU has a current strength of schedule of 41. Ohio State's SOS is 16 and Michigan 19. Penn State's NEXT opponent Minnesota has a SOS of 75. Don't let their 8-0 record fool you. And is PSU pretty darn good? With narrow wins against Pitt, Iowa, Michigan you can drop the "pretty darn" from their good label.

Nah, I'm going to keep it there.  119 FBS teams and they are voted by the coaches and media as a top 5 team.  96% of the teams are ranked lower than they are.

Sure they are #5, voted for by humans who are sportswriters and coaches. No bias there. But Strength of Schedule which you brought up? Different ballgame. Heck, PSU didn't even move UP in the polls the week they beat Pitt. Their schedule will really hold them back when fighting for that final playoff spot if they are 11-1 with several other teams. And Minnesota is a joke. They are 8-0 against South Dakota State, Fresno St, Georgia Southern, Purdue, Illinois, Nebraska, Rutgers and Maryland. Hence their 75th SOS so don't hype up their game with PSU.

If that helps you go to sleep at night, keep telling yourself that.  Fact of the matter is, Penn State will finish the season with a top 5 SOS. They will more than likely have played 6 (of 12) opponents that will reach the 8 win plateau by seasons end (Pitt, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, and Ohio State).  Half their games will have been against teams that will be at or near the top 25 at seasons end.   Now, lets look at Pitt's schedule for a minute.
