Had to be from Johnstown
When i see things like the letter to the Penn State football player about his hair i cringe. Not only to take the time to do that but to also put your contact information on it??

Old head is almost 80 years old so I will give him a pass on this one because he’s earned the right to have an opinion whether you disagree with it or not.

What's the age cutoff for being a bigot?
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
It’s one thing to have an opinion. It’s another thing to track down an address of a student athlete to send them a letter telling them to cut their hair.

Can you be called a bigot if you hate everybody?
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
LaVar Arrington, who played at Penn State, said that this fan is simply part of the old PSU culture that Joe Paterno created decades ago. No names on the jerseys, plain helmets, no individuality, etc is representative of exactly what Paterno wanted his football program to be. Arrington wasn’t offended by it and just noted that we’re all now living in a new culture.

Did all the white guys on the team with long hair get a letter as well?
Re: Had to be from Johnstown
LaVarr said its ok, so thats it. Im sure the current players who weren't born when he wore the jersey appreciate that.

What about the reserve white QB that stands on the sidelines with $20,000 of “bling” around his neck. Did he get a letter?

The Yankees don't allow long hair and facial hair. Are they racists?
