Grrrr...McCoy and Berry Unofficially Visit
Dear Nit Fans,
Ohhh boyyy, the boss is really gonna be mad at me now!
Grrr, the evil Pittsburgh empire is gaining on us...How did they get McCoy and Berry to unofficially visit Pitt today??? We told those two studs that Pitt is in the middle of nowhere and that their facilities are worse than Temples. I even sent them each 25 handwritten letters already reinforcing this concept! Now that those boys actually saw Pitt, we're in trouble.
Uh Oh...I just remembered...Pitt showed those two Dorsett and Martin and we showed them Enis and Carter and Warner...eek. I am shudddering at the thought of being called in and admonished tomorrow morning by the boss...Do you think if I tell him that our attendance is high that it will distract him enough and make him feel better?
HELP, someone has to convince those guys that Oakland is really in Hyndman or Claysburg or Windber!
Those Pitt coaches are really beginning to irritate me...Hey, doesn't anyone wanna talk about ATTENDANCE??? Please, c'mon, someone please bring up attendance!

Re: Grrrr...McCoy and Berry Unofficially Visit
If you had a chance to get a free, UNOFFICIAL visit (which means he didn't lose any points for going) to a school with a former NFL coach, would you take it?
Why the hell would you go play for a team who loses 5 games a year when you are being heavily recruited by the Miami Hurricanes, who also have a campus that is probably the nicest in the country?
Curt Warner, Curtis Enis, and Ki-Jana Carter were among the nation's best running backs whenever they played college football. It is not Joe Paterno or Fran Ganter's doing when someone doesn't develop once they are free of those two's hands. Those guys were viewed as threats by opposing teams. Antonio Bryant was a badass college player too.

In the end titan is just mad that williams and king went to PSU, and it happened to be that they were recruited by some hand written letters. My question is, does it really matter how he got it done?? I don't care if he got on his knees and begged them. He got 2 of the nations top recruits to go to PSU and titan just hates that thought so he has to make fun of bradley for doing his job.

Sorry, but King was a gimmee for PSU. His step dad/high school coach is former PSU great Terry Smith.
I'll tell you one thing, he would have at least given Pitt a serious look had Wannstedt been here a year earlier.
Wanny is getting it done! In case you didn't notice, Pitt received a commitment from Nick Bynham, who some rank as the #1 tight end in the nation.

Re: Grrrr...McCoy and Berry Unofficially Visit
Dear PSU Fans,
I had that meeting with coach this morning and sure enough, I received a scathing reprimand regarding the McCoy and Berry situation at Pitt yesterday. I had to bow down and genuflect to the master and I kissed his 1995 National Championship Ring and told him that I will try much harder next time.
Coach asked me why I didn't invent some more lies about Pitt and why I couldn't just show those two pictures of a filled up Beav and a half empty Heinz Field--The ones we show to all of our recruits...Hey, does anyone else wanna talk about attendance and how much it positively impacts wins and losses? Heck, we've won 26 games in the last 5 seasons with some of the best attendance in the country. Not too shabby if you ask me.
Anyway, here I am sitting in my office...I am taking my 5 minute per hour break from writing handwritten letters to McCoy and Berry. The Master has locked me in my office until midnight tonight and security is outside to make sure I don't try to get away.
The Master says that I need to write until my %$#@*&^ hand falls off or I'd NEVER EVER be hired back as a member of the Heir Apparent (JAYPA'S) staff. That's OK...Coach is the Grand Old Man of College Athletics, so he can say and do whatever he wants. I'll just accept it because what He says and does is as good as gospel, right?
Well, I guess I'd better get back to writing now. The guards are in here threatening some brutality if I don't get started. Gee, it almost seems like they're brainwas...aah, forget it.

PS-Hey, Heaven and Hoops, who cares if Pitt got the #1 TE in the country...We don't need one anyway, we're just going to petition the NCAA to allow us to play an extra LB instead of a TE...BTW, do you have that TE's address??? I'd like to send him a handwritten letter in my spare time congratulating him on his decision and asking him if he'd like to come up to Arts Fest and join the party (bonfire fodder is optional) and check our place out before he signs with the evil empire.

Re: Grrrr...McCoy and Berry Unofficially Visit
The thing I love about Titan is how this bozo needs everything spelled out for him or else it doesn't make any sense. Go ask Mack Brown what it's like to have early commitments. They invited Adrian Peterson to the OU game, and OU beat them by 70 points. Guess where Peterson ended up. It sure as hell wasn't Austin, Texas. Ask him about Ryan Perrilouix, too. He was only committed to Texas for about 9 months. He is right now battling for the starting job at Louisiana State. Point being, you guys have a finishing record as bad as last year and previous years (sorry, winning 8 means you lost 5) and I can guarantee you that commit will be heading to Coral Gables or elsewhere. What do you think Miami is going to do when the season starts? They are becoming the best tight end school in the country. You think they aren't going to go after the #1 tight end? Miami is notorious for late-in-the-day theft when it comes to recruiting classes. So let's not count our chickens here, folks. Those early commits don't mean a dang thing. You'd think you Pitt bozos would have learned that by now!

WT,
PSU is the only school that knows how to recruit and get all the best players nation-wide! They have the best coaches in developing talent nation-wide as well.

I think Pitt lost Morelli on signing day and I think they also lost the Johnson kid to Miami on signing day.
