LHAC Week 3 Predictions
GGGRRRR! I lost my first post on this that took me an hour to write because for some reason BC is running slow for me today. So here is my short version.
CH @ Central
Both teams are improved. But Central has a improved more.
Dragons by a score
CC @ PC
"Penn Cambria football is back!". I agree! Back to being a .500 ball club that is! The Devils "run" over the Panthers. Literally.
Makin 20 - Penn Cambria 6
Richland at B.C.
In a "street fight" (sorry coach Swaim) I'd take Forcellini over the whole Ram defense. "The Force" will wear down the Rams in the 2nd half. Look out LHAC, BC is getting better each week and may be the best team in the conference by week 9.
Huskies by 20
Somerset at McLoaded
Talk about two teams at the other end of the spectrum. McCort just stomped Bedford at Bedford. Good thing for the Eagles is that the Crushers will have a let down this week!
Eagles catch the Crushers snoozing!
Crushers by only 50.
Johnstown at Westmont
I'm not sold on Westmont. They are fast but I don't think they are physical at all. The Hilltopper got beat up, and put away last week in Sidman. I think Johnstown will put it together here and pull one out. Hey Coach Arcurio, when in doubt just throw it to the "X" Receiver!
Trojans 27 - Westmont 20
**GOTW**
Bedford at Forest Hills
0-2 vs 2-0...who cares right? Wrong. This IS the biggest current LHAC rivalry...period. This game is always a thriller..and this week will be no different.
Expect Marshall to get loose a few times in this one. Swaim made a big mistake by not letting him and Harris touch the ball last week. He surely won't make that mistake again.
Lucky for the Rangers they have an emerging middle linebacker in Brad Waters. Brad is fast, strong, and has hit the learning curve running. I would look for him to have a solid game this week chasing that counter play!
Bottom line of this game is that if FH gets it's passing game going...which has been non-existent to this point...this game will be lopsided.
I don't think that is going to happen. Expect a big play, turnover, or a inadvertent whistle (for you ham) to decide this one.
Hey...In Don we Trust...
So I'll take that big play being Oswalt on a fade pass.
FH 26 - Bedford 14
Good luck to all Teams!

Re: LHAC Week 3 Predictions
Here's the West Pac Wrap
Game of the Week -
BERLIN VS PORTAGE
Portage has some bumps and bruises right now with Gouse and with Berlin's tough running defense and solid linebacking core it should be a good game if Berlin goes to Portage ready to play.
Blacklick over Meyersdale
Blacklick is tough this year, they have many returning starters both ways. Meyersdale is young and inexperienced. Blacklick will win big.
Windber over Township
Windber is back and better than ever. There high powering offense is tough to stop. The horses will lead the way upfront with a win over Township.
Conemaugh Valley over North Star
North Star is struggling this year both ways offensively and defensively
and Gumby will lead the Blue Jays over the Cougars
Shade over Ferndale
Whoever loses this game will be the team in the WestPac without a win this year. Both these teams are struggling but Ben Leonard and the Panthers size will beat Ferndale for their 1st win of the season.

Re: LHAC Week 3 Predictions
I hope Bedford loses and doesn't win a game at all this year. I think without Troy Harris or Shane Fox, they have nothing but Kyler Ford and Derrick Harris, but their not as good as the other two.
