Re: 06 states
x-man?? Are you saying that you think Tommy Ripple will Place first at states this year?
well, I don't know about that.....Terry Williams was a three-time champ and a four-time finalist with a headlock....he had more, but he rarely used it, especially his freshman year...everyone knew it was coming...stopping it was another thing....unless you saw it, you wouldn't have believed it....
more recently, I believe Brice Mertiff hung one move on quite a few to get a place in states...just last year....
and I'm sure Mr. Miller has a little more to go with the headlock...that's just his big one....and I only saw him at regionals....he'll be ok, I'd imagine....

Re: 06 states
i believe that ripple could possibly win states. he is a sr. at a weight that has mostly freshman and sophmores. he went to the big show last year and that experience is invaluable. and he is a very good wrestler.it all depends on how hard he works and how bad he wants it.

wrasslerfan let me tell ya sumtin, i've been wrestling since i was 4 years old, and being a senior and comparing him to a freshmen/softmore/junior has nothin to do with wrestling. No matter what at any givin time, any buddy can lose. Im pretty sure that every wrestler can agree with me on that one. oh and by the way, anybody who thinks im miller (haha) there wrong.
