First BCS rankings are out...
Re: First BCS rankings are out...
AE, you said the Penn State has the advantage of voters LIKING them. Wouldn't that translate into "helping" them if it came to choosing between them and another team. I mean if 2 teams are close, wouldn't you pick the one you like???

Deliverance, don't slight Texas. For once, I will say that it takes a lot of balls to schedule OSU when they did. Ohio State was coming off a recent national title and seasons where they were still going like 10-1. Texas was NOT that good back then. Sure they played Lafayete, but it cancels out. I got on your **** about Lafayette and Rice because you made it out like those games were examples of how good Texas was.
Remember, I'm not saying ND should be 16th or less. But I think a drop of 9th to 11th or 12th, in all the polls, is appropriate. 2 spost, that's all I ask. They lost the game.
Moldo, such is exactly the horrors of that ex-coaches poll. You cannot trust those guys if they have the vote in their hands. They have public respect to contend with in their picks. I want to see Schembechler slight Michigan for Ohio State, or Edwards give Notre Dame the nod over BYU. And don't you try to get your team in the top 25? Let's say you are the old coach from Oregon State, and the Beavers are 3-3. Don't you give them a little nudge for the top 25? See, you can't trust these people. And you can't trust any of the other voters either. That's why it's unfair that PSU or ND or Nebraska get hype where Indiana or Kansas or Rutgers will not, even if they do the exact same thing in PSU's place. It's a bunch of bullsh*t.
