Bishop Carroll - 28 Penn Cambria - 8

-Forcellini and Lauer to much for the Panthers. No signs of the Sommerset game sticking around. Huskies get to business tonight.

GOTW ***Forest Hills - 12 Bishop McCort - 16***GOTW

-Rearick and Trout hook up twice, not ground attack...Rangers keep it
throughout. Look for Barbin and Lewis to have a good night. Sheridan should connect with Spangler several times.

BedFORD - 42 Sommerset - 6

-Enough said.... Sommerset continues its losing streak.

Cambria Heights - 12 Westmont - 28

-Kanuch has his way with the kilts. 200+ rushing yards.

Central Martinsburg - 21 Richland - 34

-Both great passing teams, both poor pass defense. Richland wins. Bailey = better coach.

Central Cambria - 21 Johnstown - 12

-Lost to CM last week (you know it is a bad year), play tough and win this week. By the way, is Makin (rb) and Davidson (wr/lb) playing this week? Rumour had it both were out last week early in action. Both of which are CC's biggest playmakers.

It's week 8, and you are either gearing up for the playoffs, or starting talks about next year. This weeks LHAC contest features a little of both, lets take a look.

PC at BC
Carroll had last week to get healthy has they did just enough to get through the game with a W, and Penn Cambria got embarrassed last week by the Rangers. I'd expect BC to come out fired up this week as this is their last major test of the season. PC is 0-2 (losses to Beford and Forest Hills) against the top teams in the conference so far, and you can chalk that up another one after this night.

Bishop Carroll 20 -- Penn Cambria 13

Heights at Westmont
Heights just doesn't have enough this year to compete in the conference. Westmont on the other hand has been up and down this year. Hopefully this week will help them regain some confidence as they wind up the season and head into the playoffs.
Westmont by 4 socres.

Central @ Richland
I think this is a great matchup. Both of these teams have played well at times this year, but nether team has the wins to show for it. Both of these teams are looking for win #3 on the year. Central is coming off a huge win over Central Cambria. But that CC team has been beaten and put away wet this year. I like Richland in this one. I think Pecora will make one more play than his counterpart. Hey, hats off to both of these coaches, Bailey-RR, and Hoenstine for Central. They are both doing goo things for their programs.
Richland 23 -- Central 20

Bedford @ Somerset
Bedford let a Heights team hang around longer then expected last week, and Somerset hung around longer then expected against Carroll last week. Whats that mean...absolutely nothing! Bedford is still rolling and will make it 6 in a row this week. Somerset just doesn't have enough to match up with Ford, Marshall, and Harris.
Bedford by at least 4 scores.

Central Cambria at Johnstown
Devil fans are just feeling bad for themselves. It isn't going to get any better this week either, as they head to play a Johnstown team who has been improving over the course of the year. I'd expect Thomas to have a big night catching passes all over the depleted CC secondary. CC won't be able to score enough to win this one.
Johnstown 21 -- CC 6

**GOTW**
Forest Hills at McCort
This game has been highly anticipated, and will be played on a lot of emotions, just as any matchup between these two teams.
Turnovers and Line play will again be the deciding factor. Forest Hills is going to need to score 25+ points to win this one. Barbin and Lewis will get loose a few times for sure.
If the Line of FH can give Rearick some time to throw, I like the Rangers in this one. If they can't, it's going to be a long night for the Green and Gold.
Rearick hits Trout late in the game to seal the Victory for the Rangers.
Rangers by 2 in classic.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!
