Ravens at Steelers
What a miserable game the Steelers played even though I think we all knew the Ravens would rise to the occasion. Three out of the last four games the O-line has reeked. What was the deal with that botched punt attempt?

The Ravens always play close to the Steelers. Ed Reed and Ray Lewis wouldn't have made the difference either. What really bothered me last night was how the Ravens were successful in running the same pass play on about 4 different occasions, and completing it for 20+ yards each time. It was a simple down and in, nothing more, and it was WIDE open every time.
The long snapper is a rookie. That was the first time he's screwed up this year. Can you remember any other bad snaps that happened this year? I didn't think so. 1 mistake in 7 games is not bad for a rookie.
How about Heath Miller and how the Steelers are utilizing him this year, on big 3rd downs(last week) and in the Redzone? He's made a huge difference and give Big Ben a huge, surehanded target when it matters. That draft pick is looking better and better week by week.

I agree. Seeing them use a TE as an offensive weapon instead of just a 3rd tackle position is long overdue.
I was one of the ones on here complaining about them wasting a 1st rounder on a guy they would never utilize to his ability. I said then that I hoped they would prove me wrong and I would admit if they did.
Serve up the crow.

What worries me about the Steelers this year is that their run game has been getting shut down to often. Willie Parker is not the answer. He is a great back that offers a change for Bettis or Staley. But he is not a Pittsburgh style back. The Steelers need Staley to get healthy and the Bus to stay healthy if they want to make a run at the Superbowl.
The Steelers passing game is not going to take them there. Randall El is a great Slot reciever, but a very, very average at the X position. He is not replacing the threat that Burress created like the Steelers had hoped he would.

And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

What worried me about the Steelers was Anthony Wright threw for over 200 yards. Yes, Anthony Wright threw for 200 yards. I believe he threw for more than Big Ben. It's not a big deal, though. The Steelers came out with the W. The only worry is that Big Ben is questionable for this weekend's game. Could we see another game quarterbacked by Tommy "Gunn" Maddox? Let's just hope the wind isn't blowing, and he'll be fine.

The Steelers are still in much, much better shape than your love boat Vikings - especially now that Culpepper is out for the season.
Moss fan. Raiders = 3-4. Good try, though. Culpepper isn't near as good without Moss. He had his great season with 6 TD's and 12 INT's. It's impossible to like a team that trades away their best player and their future. They should go on a few more cruises. I agree. I know I don't care.
You always find a way to drop your support of a losing team. Last year you were all about the Vikings  , and never once did you say last year that you only liked them because of Moss.
