Terrell Owens Man without a Clue

What a moron. He says the Eagles would be undefeated if they had Brett Farve for a QB. He busts on the rest of his Eagle teammates. He is bitter because the Eagles organization didn't recognize his 100th career touchdown reception (I guess he wanted a party or something). This is his third suspension from play and a man without a contract for next year, yet he continues to do amazing things like this. What team in their right minds would even offer him a deal for next year? He'll probably end up being the NFL's answer to Dwight Gooden in the future.

He needs to learn to shut his mouth and just play football. He is a great wide receiver. He just never uses his head when he talks. He loves the attention way too much. How can he say his team would be undefeated with Brett Favre as quarterback? What is the point in saying that? Maybe they'd be undefeated if they had Edgerrin James. Why didn't he say that, too? He needs to just shut up and play.

The man is an jerk, no doubt about it. But there will be a team that bring him in, they just can't help themselves.

With that said, there are 2 things going on here. #1, TO dumped his agent that negotiated this contract and picked up Drew Rosenhaus (sp?). Now, Drew hasn't got a penny yet from a TO contract. Drew is putting this crap in TO's head so Drew can get a payday for his efforts. And TO has bought into it. #2, since TO has bought into this, he is doing the things he has to do to get out of Philly, because there's a snowball's chance in that fiery place we all want to avoid that TO will get a new contract from Philly. I believe both his outbursts this year have been calculated and planned out since Philly wouldn't budge on the new contract.

I applaud Philly for their stance on this one. The NFL needs more front offices like that to cut out the caca some of these players are throwing at them. But in the end, someone, somewhere will take a chance on TO with a big money deal because the upside is too enticing. Let's hope they have the smarts to tie behavior clauses to his contract.

Look up N.W.A. on the internet and TO's picture will be there. What if RUSH LIMBAUGH had said the Eagles would be undefeated if Favre was QB? There would be SO MUCH MORE hell to pay than since 'his eminence' TO said it. And Michael Irvin stands up for TO, also.

Screw T.O. He was in a fight with Hugh Douglas on Thursday, even though no punches landed. Then he went into the lockerroom and challenged any teammates that go on talking behind his back, though he's one to be talking about going on behind people's backs. The Eagles should just release him now and go on about business. And there won't be any teams that pick him up. There are very few teams that would be interested, and the teams that might be interested (like Oakland) don't have the salary cap room. Even though he's a great receiver, his NFL career is over because he causes more trouble than he's worth.
