Re: Portage Vs Bellwood
Are you seriously comparing So. Columbia to Portage? That's crazy! It's like comparing Penn Highlands Community College to Penn State.
The difference is that SC has the players to run right at someone and not be stopped. Portage can not afford to run right at someone because they don't have SC's kind of firepower.
If I get 11 of my friends together and get the Colts playbook... Could we go undefeated in the NFL?

Firstly, I think you'd only need 10 guys if you're counting yourself.
Secondly, I think that your success would depend on whether you're good friends with Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stokely, Dallas Clark, and Peyton Manning.
Anyways, I think the Bellwood/Portage game will be close as long as Portage's defense keeps Kleinfelter in check. Because as far as I see, Kleinfelter is Bellwood-Antis football. You stop him, you stop BA. Plain and simple. One thing, though...Portage cannot and I repeat CANNOT fall behind. If they're knotted up at halftime, Portage will win the game.
Just like the last two games for Portage, this one will come down to who wants to win the game more.

Good catch warrior! You got me good on that one. BUT, the 11th could be a kicker?! I can kick... but i'd rather have a specialist.

Yes comparing Portage to SoCo is a far stretch...and so is Bellwood compared to teams in the coal region. They have the same quality in their athletes, but they play the game much harder than any d5/d6, westpac, lhac team. I'm saying that it is a very difficult offense to play against and works very well...hence both teams usually beating up on the competition. I think portage has the players to be able to run that offense well. SoCo had a lot of outstanding athletes last year, but they don't this year and they are still winning games. They run their offense very well and so does portage, who does have experience this year. Either way, good luck to both teams.
It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
