Road To Altoona

Post by FalconHater »

With an exciting game last night between Mccort and Tyrone, which ended up in a heart breaker for the Golden Eagles, I was just wondering how many people will be making the trip to Forest Hills tonight to watch the other spectrum of the playoff bracket. Although this game probally wont satisfy up to the likings of last nights game.

Also predictions would be nice.

Rangers have been on a role now for pretty much the entire season now. Except for the first half against Westmont I feel they are playing D6 Champion football. Tonight FH has to many athletes for Marion Center to stop in the passing game and if that doesnt work I feel that FH line could take over the game at any point. Marion Center has a good running attack but upfront for the Rangers I feel they are to athletic and will stop the charge.....

mccort played 2 of the best teams in the district on its way to the rug, forest hills has played two of the worst. now either two things will come of this...mccort will be worn down and the rangers will be fresh, or the crushers will be warmed up and the untested rangers will be cold

That's funny, I thought the Rangers were tested pretty hard last weekend.

So the "worst" that Forest Hills played (Westmont) beat the "best" that McCort played (Bedford) during the regular season.

This is playoffs, throw "best" and "worst" out the window, everyone comes to play.

The LHAC is putting on a great show this year, keep it up boys.

Yep, it's just a shame that they always end up matching up vs. one another in the first round of the playoffs. Potentially 2 of the best 3 teams in District 5/6 played each other in the first round, and they were both LHAC teams. Put PC, Westy up against Marion Center and Chestnut Ridge, what do you get there? W's for the LHAC teams.

Hell put McCort and Bedford up against MC and CR and you have two LHAC blowouts and two great semi-final games instead of one great one and one yawner.
