Probably because PITT and WVU play on Nov. 24th. They probably will be there, Herbstreit anyway....

No, Miami isn't better than them with 2 losses, but Texas still isn't better than some of the one loss teams. They've just had one heck of an easy schedule, save for ONE GAME. Perhaps if you weren't so dumb yourself, you'd realize that.
USC 48, Texas 21
I hate USC, but I would love to see them rip Texas a new arse.

Re: College GameDay in East Lansing!
Texas has had an easy schedule this year except for Ohio State. However, they don't really have control over that. The thing is, they have obliterated everyone on that schedule except for the Buckeyes. Certainly Ohio State is one of the top 5 or 10 teams in the country and they beat them on the road. Many of the other top programs have struggled with lesser opponents, but not the Longhorns.
So you can argue that Texas has played poor teams, but you can't argue their dominance over them. If Texas was squeaking by some of the lesser teams, I could see your point, but they are a clear number 2 team until someone knocks them off. Even if Texas or USC were to lose, I would think LSU would be the next most deserving team to play for the national title (assuming the Tigers win out).
