Windber -VS- North Star
Windber -VS- North Star...
I took in the game tonight at North Star, & The Ramblers played a decent game against a struggling Cougar team. The out-come was a 74 -37 victory for the Ramblers. I noticed that when your team is down, the fans just don't come out in droves,like when your winning...
I would venture to say that out of the 300 to 350 folks at the gym, Windber fans out- numbered N.S. three to one. That's kinda sad in ways. Windber year in, & year out, is predominatly a good team within their District #5/6 (AA) play. & with that, a volume of faithful fans watch them home or away. & I also noticed that both cheerleading squads represented their respected schools. (Which is great)!!!! North Star is down in talent some, this year, but i think that the Bosswelites still should go & catch the action. If not for a $3.00 game ticket & a chance at the 50/50 ticket, but to give their kids a boost, which they could use. I know gas is expensive but ?????
