Richland, Westmont, and CC have to be considered the front runners going in. Watch out for the returning champs though if they can manage to get a couple starters back and healthy by then. (Smerekar and Walk could be in the lineup in the next 2 weeks), they're still 7-1 without them.

I'm surprised the Rangers were even considered on this list. They will have to step up the pace if they're going to make any noise this year. IMO

AA
District 6

1. Westmont- weak schedule could really hurt them in dist duals
2. Tyrone- until the get beat, they are the team to beat,,kind of like the patriots
3. Central Cambria-well balanced and well coached
4.. Richland- lots and lots of talent, no toughness and leadership
5. Penns Valley- Darkhorse, tough team, but to many holes
6. Huntington- much improved from last year, could make a statement this year

teams with possible chances of showing:
mount union
southern huntington
claysburg- states weakest schedule, even westy looks tough
Somerset- finally somerset is coming around

Pale rider its over,,,,your Rangers are done, the rangers lost in the first round to the forest hills admin by the decisions I heard they made. at least you got football, I am sure they won't try to ruin that too.

Hey- real time- your clock's broken. Get it fixed. I've so much as come right out and said the Rangers program was down this year. Also explained why. Maybe you better read those posts again, it doesn't seem to have sunk in yet. Now- what you imply about the FH Admin.- I have several very close friends who are either Coaches, Teachers, or on the school board, and NONE of them has alluded to squat as to what you imply. Maybe you want to PM me and I'll either agree or refute what you think you know. Maybe it's just sour grapes from you.

I too would like to know what decisions the FH administration made that sidelined the Rangers this year. Since real time has heard about them, perhaps he'd share them with the rest of us.

The fact of the matter is that we will not be in the mix of things at the District Duals this year. That is obvious and has been since the beginning of the season. Many factors contribute to this including low numbers (very crucial), changes, strength of schedule, and losses from the prior season. It is a two team race in District 6 (my opinion). Central Cambria and Westmont will battle it out for the title and Tyrone and Richland would be my darkhorses. We, however, will never quit and will finish the season on a positive note. I look forward to sharing the successes of a couple individuals this year. Good luck to all local teams and wrestlers.

It will all depend on how well his broken leg has healed, and if he gets medical clearance to go. I wish him luck also, he was our best shot going into this season. We can only look forward to better things from TMcV.
