I'm asking a serious question here, Why does district 6 and some other districts get two teams that advance to wrestle in the team duels, but D5 only get s one. It seems to me that the top 3 or 4 teams from D5 prpbably could have beaten any of the top 2 from D6. is D5 the only district with one representative? It's just my opinion but I think NS, CR, and NB could all have beaten the top 2 teams in D6. If anybody has the answer let me know.
Re: State Duals
Quick question for cr96 guy were you being serious when you said that the top 3 or 4 teams could beat the district 6 top teams...Thats the biggest crock of cramp i have ever heard, other than this year there usually isnt a comparision. People with no knowledge should not be allowed to speak on here at all. They make their schools and district look bad. Your district champs got beat by CC, and they lost early in the d6 playoffs. Please get your story straight or quit speaking on here, you make no sense
Hey Real Time. yes CC did beat NS at the Richland duals. But I think it would be a different outcome if they were to wrestle again. Normally somebody from D6 is badmouthing D5 wrestling, but as they say "What a difference a year makes"! Good Luck to all the area teams in the state dual meet tourney and go COUGARS.

Real Time, biggest crock of cramp? In case you forgot already, CR beat CC and wasn't CC supposed to be the cream of the crop in D6. And from what I've watched of wrestling this year I think the top 2 D5 teams could probably beat CC and any other team in D6 this year. Maybe saying that the top 3 or 4 teams in D5 was stretching it a bit, but it was my opinion that NS and CR could probably beat whatever team D6 sent... And do you know me? I was just wondering because you sure seem to think you do when you assume I know nothing about the subject. It may have been a long time since I was last on the mat but I try to keep up with all the local teams around the region. And my question was answered by Dr. Funk and that satisfied what I wanted to know, there was no need for the jerk attitude and you assumptions of my knowledge. As for the State duels, Im a CR fan, but they lost to a good team in NS and Im pretty sure they will represent D5 well in wrestling for the State Duels. Good Luck NS wrestlers and show them what D5 wrestling is about.
Re: State Duals
Realtime, D5 fourth best team -Bedford, defeated Richland[D6 champ] and CC by about 10 to 15 points if I remember correctly. Chestnut Ridge also defeated CC in a very close match. At the Thomas tourny D5 teams where 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th(NS, CR,NBC, Bed.) D6 was 3rd, 4th, 9th(Tyrone, Richland, CC) . Bedford and Westmont have to wrestle yet to determine the LHAC champ, but I think D5 has 4 teams that could have legitimately contended for the D6 crown. Look at Mount Union, the 8 seed could have very easily been in the finals of D6 duals. And this is not a one year fluke. D5 will get better and better the next four years. Bedford, CR, NS jr high teams are just loaded!
