Re: Pitt Football Radio and t.v. ads
oooops. O.K so minnesota and northwestern are equal to louisville and rutgers, so therefore Pitt and Psu schedules are about the same.

So you are saying one of the bad Big Ten teams (according to your previous post) is equal to top tier Big East teams. Louisville???

Re: Pitt Football Radio and t.v. ads
Hold up. Now we know that schedules are made a few years in advance, so you can't hold it against Pitt that UVA lost both coordinators, had a subsequent terrible recruiting year, and had to dismiss Ahmad Brooks this week. Michigan State is another team you can't hold against pitt because John L. Smith's teams always start hot and finish poorly. Don't forget that MSU was being talked about a national title team until about the 7th week last year. Toledo is the best program in the MAC and already beaten top notch programs in the past and can play with anyone. Citadel, however, is a very big joke, and finger the shame is pointed at Pitt for not finding a decent I-AA team if that road is inevitable. I do however still think it's a load of BS that they are using the "ACC raid and rape" as a tactic for having to schedule I-AA teams this far down the road after the fact.
Just be fair about it, it's not Pitt's fault when the teams they schedule OOC don't live up to hype.

TAE, I'm impressed! You wrote a some-what positive post about Pitt. And it is still several hours before April Fool's Day.

Re: Pitt Football Radio and t.v. ads
There's many reasons to make fun of Pitt, but you have to be fair when the scheduling thing comes up. Pitt's OOC schedule has to be solid if they want any credibility since the conference is really weak, and I dont wanna hear it about WVU and Rutgers. Anyone with a brain that watched WVU this season at any point saw a team who has a long ways to go yet, but is slowly moving in the right direction. Like Pittsburgh, West Virginia's coaching holds them back. We all saw the complete meltdown in the Georgia game, and be glad Georgia is very overrated every year. That Sugar Bowl win is not really that impressive when you consider how poor West Virginia ended up playing. Rutgers is getting better with Schiano and that's no debate (obviously, they won a few games in comparison to before) but Schiano is at present not a very good head coach, plus Rutgers is losing a lot. And by a lot I mean everything.
It really is going to hurt Pitt that UVA is on the verge of having the worst season in Al Groh's tenure there, and they'll be lucky to win a conference game in the ACC. People who keep up with college football 24-7 365 like I do know that Smith's status in Lansing is getting worse as the days pass even in the offseason. This is it for John L. Smith. If that team doesn't stop trailing off at the end of the year, he's ancient history. Pitt and ND have a little rivalry and with ND's hype that really helps Pittsburgh's exposure, which has been an additional factor in Pitt's stagnant success. But it's not going to help when Quinn assaults that secondary of Pitt's just like he's going to do to Penn State in week 3. As for The Citadel... come on now.

Re: Pitt Football Radio and t.v. ads
first of all I posted a topic about upcoming PITT football season and the radio and t.v ads promoting that season and the effectiveness of those ads on me a PITT fan. the ads suggest six(6) bowl teams (home) games and a nationally recogognized recruiting class.that's all! further more after a few NON-PITT FANS crashed the party I became instantly childish and defensive!!! and i'll do it again just t

Re: Pitt Football Radio and t.v. ads
nope, not at all you stupid illiterate bastard! look at the post and ask your little sister who can read to translate it. I did'nt even mention white superior state in any way shape or form. why would any PITT fan care about a football program across the state in the middle of nowhere that has had one winning season in the new millenium? why would a PITT fan care about a team that has a coach on his deathbed and taking the football program with him to the grave?

Eleven and One!!!!! Do I really need to say anymore??? And you did write that on page one and that is when I just told you 6 bowl teams that Penn State has!!! Oh by the way the 5th best recruting class in the nation. Dave Wannstedt is the coach with the dying program.
