The first post I mentioned was the 4th post in the thread, which was your second post on this topic. You at least had the decency to wish him well, but your second post, went back to the same old occ crap that has been shown to be just that, crap, about 60 times by 47 different people.

And so what if AE takes a shot at Notre Dame? How many Notre Dame fans we have here? Only one that I know of who posts on a regular basis, and he's a decent guy, who would appreciate the joke.

About PSU diamonds in the rough- I am not brainwashed. Last year they had kids I wasn't sure about..but guess what, the coaches know more than me.

I also prefer to get 4 and 5 star recruits because they have the most potential to be outstanding....but I don't bash 3* guys. I never will...Poz was a 3* guy.


I think the whole thing about that guy Pitt got... PSU guys were ripping his poor offers since Pitt fans were on here bashing how PSU took a kicker that wasn't recruited by others (although he was...just without offers yet...most B10 schools were very interested)


I also agree on the fact that I read the same thing every day. I hope it doesn't get to the point where BC is like pantherlair and bwi. I will make a forum for each and eliminate trolls if I have to. I post about PSU to talk about PSU with fellow PSU fans such as Ham, TAE, and Frosty. I don't post about them to have someone post about their OOC schedule, how old JoePa is, failure to play Pitt, etc. I really, honestly DO NOT care about that second rate football school near the 3 rivers. I have no interest in that university. I like the Pirates, Pens, and Steelers but I don't give two licks about Pitt. I like to see them lose because I don't like how their fans are and I want them to be poor so PSU can keep Wanny's wall down for good.

I would rather play the following teams than Pitt... WVU, Oklahoma, USC, Georgia, Nebraska, Alabama, Miami, LSU, Auburn, Tenn, Florida, FSU, etc etc. Sorry Pitt. I don't care about you. Any negative posts I make are just to get back at the guys here ripping on PSU.

So it's tit for tat on this site. I bring up what a mistake it was for PSU to give a scholarship to a punter who had NO other offers. Then frostlion makes fun of Pitt's OL recruit because he only had offers from Akron and Temple. Then I rip PSU OL recruit because he only plays Class A football. Then coach CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!! That's the nature of this site. If you can't stand the heat.......

Well, summary of Moldy's comments in this thread:

(1) Nick Sukay is a liar, who has no character, who lead Pitt, ND, and every other university on because he knew immediately he was going to verbal to PSU.

(2) Nick Sukay is not a quality recruit because he did not play AAAA ball, and it's fishy that PSU did not offer him a scholarship until just recently.

(3) The PSU coaching staff has absolutely no idea what it is doing, for they have offered scholarships to too many "receivers" and have thus, wasted the limited number of scholarship they have to give.

(4) Related to point #3, the PSU coaching staff are idiots, because they are giving out scholarships on "potential".

(5) Again, related to point #3, PSU has used up scholarships too early in the recruiting season.

(6) Frosty is a flamer for responding to my comments.


And Frosty's responses:

(1). Nick had no scholarship offer in hand from PSU until just recently; while PSU was most likely his dream pick, why would he choose to walk on when he could go to Notre Dame, Pitt, and 15+ other places on a full ride.

(2) As Coach pointed out, Nick did not choose to play something less than AAAA ball. And if he is such a mediocre talent, then why did Pitt recruit him so heavily? And in response to the point as to why was PSU so late in offering him a scholarship: Notre Dame only offered Nick a scholarship about a month prior to PSU. Pitt offered Nick a scholarship a long, long, time before either ND or PSU. Obviously Wanny thinks he has some solid talent.

(3) I say recruit as much talent at skill positions as possible. As I stated, anyone who is a PSU fan and has watched (and suffered) over the past several years, 03-04 in particular, knows that the main problem has been lack of skill, speed, etc, at skill positions. The arrival of Williams, King, Norwood, Butler, solved that problem in 2005. The receivers PSU have recruited last year, and this year, will only add to that depth.

(4) See Jimmy Clausen.

(5) How many verbals does Texas have to this date? Is anyone raising a red flag because they have a huge commit list? And as AE has said, Pitt has more verbals so far than PSU. The coaching staff at PSU has made offers to people they want, and so far they have gotten them, and will continue to do so with Wiz, Austin, etc...

(6) What was that quote you used about Harry Truman??

1) When Sukay told the reporter from the Tribune Review that he knew immediately after the PSU-OSU game the he wanted to be part of PSU, he was lying because after his offer from PSU it still took him several weeks to commit. 2) I said Nick only played AA competion and STILL only had 29 receptions in 14 games which makes him suspect. Only 2 receptions per game ain't setting the world on fire. 3) PSU has 13 scholarships to give out in 2007 according to the Scholarship Table in FightOnState. TWELVE if Austin Scott redshirts. They have 14 underclassmen as receivers on their roster as of NOW, with Sukay and Ditto making 16. Did I lie about that???? And they're still looking at Williams and Moye. They got Zug as a walk-on. What the heck are they doing???? You can only give out 85 scholarships per team. Keep 'em coming. 4) When you give out a scholarship to a player who hasn't even played a down as a senior, YOU ARE giving out scholarships on potential. That's O.K. if you have a lot to give out. 5) PSU, with their limited scholarships, may have jumped the gun on some of their recruits. Again, with only about 13, they've given away more than half to kids who have not played a down as a senior. That's O.K. if you have 20-25 to give out, but not 13. 5) see above 6) Truman said, " I didn't give em hell. I just told the truth and they thought they were in hell". Ask coach about that. He can't take it anymore. I'm making him think he's in hell.

1) FOS has Sukay mentioned as a slot receiver AND a nickelback on defense 2) No one really knows where or if Zug will play. With or without him, PSU has 16 underclassmen as receivers counting Ditto and Sukay. And they are still pursuing Moye and Williams. 3) If you are right about Sargeant, they STILL have 15 receivers and are still pursuing Moye and Williams 4) Justin King was Never, Ever included in my original list of receivers. The FOS Scholarship table has him listed as a CB. 5) Ditto is listed as a WR/TE. Irregardless, he is still a receiver. One who won't play for many, many years. 6) Giving someone hell won't produce the truth. Giving someone the truth may put them in hell though. Truman was right

In reality, the teams you do play & will continue playing....Youngstown, Akron, Temple, E Mich, Fla Int, C Mich, UCF, Syracuse, etc, etc....Sorry Nitwits!
