carter lehman is not all you people make him seem to be. he is not overpowering and he does not have a second pitch. at dee dee osbournes camp his fastest pitch was 74mph that is not great at all.

Packers 4,

Yes i have it is not bad he definitely has potential and can be a dominating pitcher. i firmly believe against the intelligent, hard hitters he will not be effective. let me ask you this if he does have a really good change and curvev how come he is not pitching as much as he should, against the good quality teams, like delweld and im using the breakers loosely but they still can sneak up on teams

I agree with MoonManTom you guys are all on here talkin about the freshman pitchers throwin in the mid 70's with no other pitch. This Dixon kid from down in Mount Union throws easily low 80's and has great off speed pitches to back it up. I would look for him to be a great pitcher for the rest of his high school career.

Lehman has pitched well for Roberts this year. They have used at least 10 pitchers so far so nobody is getting a ton of work. Guess you'd have to ask the mgr. who's pitching when and why.
Lehman is not overpowering like he was in Pony but who is. There hasn't been an overpowering pitcher in that league for quite a while. And its not Pony anymore, just ask the Breakers. A lot of good ballplayers, from the World series team last year, but they are having trouble scoring runs: wooden bats, bigger field and better comp.

Lehman is no good or he definitely has potential and can become a dominating pitcher. Which is it? You said both. Breakers are bad or they can sneak up on people. Which is it? You said both. And ya, they can hit them in the gaps but if you have watched them, they have trouble hitting the ball with any power to the outfield.
And to answer your question, I probably have played and coached more baseball than you have seen. We both have our opinions: that's what this board is for.

Shaq,
You asked a question and I answered it. As far as your guarantee about your baseball knowledge, I guess I can't argue with that. You know better than I do.

Ok, enough with the arguing. This post is for people who know of some freshman pitchers who are capable of overpowering teams in the next few years, not to see who can get their point across about who knows more about baseball.
