As one of those 25 seniors on the team last year their sucess comes to no surprise. This group put in alot of work. Plus with all the talent all that was needed was a dline and oline and we are all able to see that they have put it together. I still can't believe we didn't win the thing last year, but my time is over and this new young Crusher team is a formatable opponent.

this years team is better in my opinion due to the fact with those 25 seniors people were expecting so much and they didnt deliver........sure they went 9-3 but they were supposed to be better then a 3 loss team This years version is showing signs of greatness.....and possibly a run past the district(its a little early but......cant help to look ahead)

Re: Crushers vs. Trojans
I have to go with the Crushers this week against the Trojans. McCort will control the ball against the Trojans and limit the big plays from the Trojan offense. I would expect Johnstown to stay close during the first half, maybe hitting one or two big plays.
As for the Crushers last year, I think the league was stronger last year, the team was overhyped and I'm not sure that Salem played his best players.
As for this year's team, I would like to see Kubinsky carry the ball more. He hits the hole quick, waits and sets up his blockers and runs hard. He has earned his shot at carrying the ball more and should get more touches than he does.

Reed is fast really fast. He is untested yet. I want to see how he runs against a strong defensive front and those big McCort backers. I look for him to shy away from Lewis I know I would. If Reed can turn the corner and get the perimiter, there is not a person on the McCort team that can run with him. The D ends MUST keep contain if not it will be a long long night. Reed is tough and fast and has the ability to break any run into a big play.
