ESPN reporting RichRod gone from WVU to Bama...
6 years- 12 million bucks and Bama pays the 2 mill buyout.
Bama is one of the better jobs in the country I'd say, but I think RR had it made at WVU.... It probably won't be a 1 year turnaround there though unless he can get in there and get a fast QB and some players that would fit his system right away. Even then, those guys are young and tough to count on.

ESPN said he was OFFERED Rich hasnt made anything a done deal?
im figuring he makes 1 million and change a year so if he can get WVU to add a couple houndred thousand more he will be staying put!

This would almost be up there with O'Brien for being a huge lateral move.

Not quite sure why he wanted to leave.
He goes to Bama where he will never be "the next Bear Bryant."

I agree. I am too confused. I believe he was on his way to being a national championship contender year in and year out. I don't know why anyone would leave a good thing like he did at WVU.

Wow... what a saga. http://www.wvsports.com was going crazy today with over 8K on at one time telling Rod good riddance and stuff like that. Wild stuff....
