I just heard Garrett Scott is no longer listed on the PSU wrestling roster...anyone know anything specific?

He will be allowed to practice with the team in Jan. I was more excited to see the 4 signees they already got for next year. Looks like Sunderland plans on keeping the Nits in the top 10 every year.

now, here's a question about Garrett...because I've heard nothing official...I know fans think he'll be starting soon, but I haven't heard that from anyone with official status...

if he actually is planning on joining the team in January, why is he not wrestling in the PSU Open this weekend? It's an open tourney...anyone can enter...

if he's truly a month away, wouldn't this be a good way to tune up and show off???

from a good friend of garrett,

his sat scores were not good enough to get in to penn state so he has to do a year of academics before he can wrestle and be eligable but you will not see him on the 06-07 wrestling roster this year which is a bummer.

so he's a prop 48 casualty? hmm, that's the first time I've heard that...if he's taking classes at PSU, then he got in...

I heard he was taking very difficult classes because he wants to work with animals. They said the classes are almost as hard as pre-med classes. He didn't get the best grades first semester. But I also heard he was going to transfer to Lock Haven. This is all here-say so it might all be false but it's what I heard.

I, like everyone else in the area, would like to know exactly what he is doing. But don't you think we all ought to give it a rest and let this young man get on with his life. We can sit here and speculate on heresay. The only people that know what is going on is Garrett and his family and obviously if they wanted the Bleacher Coaches community to know what is happening, then they would let us know. I am a wrestling fan....Garrett Scott is as talented a HS wrestler that I have ever seen (including Kolat).....when he was winning state championships, everyone wanted to know...

Now, it is no different....everyone still wants to know....however, this time wrestling fans are simply interested in whether we will ever get to see his talents on the mat again...

If he's getting on with his life, without wrestling, then this will die down soon enough....but as long as there are little twists and teases concerning his wrestling, the questions will continue to be asked...

I didn't see any bashing...just questions on a public forum...isn't that what forums are for? the exchange of information?
