Playoff Officials
Playoff Officials
Since I was on here earlier whining about officials, it's only right to comment when they do a good job. The three guys (I forget or get names mixed up -- somebody help me) who did the Everett/Windber game were excellent. I only saw a couple questionable calls, and those were on both teams. The officials let the players determine the outcome. Everett, of course, fouled out two starters, but in a triple overtime game what would you expect?
I'm not saying the game was perfect or anything, but it was as balanced and neutral as any I've seen lately. I hardly knew they were there, which is a real compliment since both teams played very hard. Of course, I would assume that the better officials do the playoff games. At least I hope that's the way it works.

Re: Playoff Officials
Foghorn That was a good comentary...
I'm glad to see the officiating was good. I wondered about that, because sometimes when you go to another teams back yard, it can get sometimes ugly.
I'm a big Windber Ramblers fan, & being that I live almost in Pittsburgh, I couldn't make the 110 mile (one Way) trip to Bedford County/ Fulton County Area... Although I was really wanted too.
Windber has lost quite a few games this year, by just a few points. They had troubles getting over that hump this this...
I believe Windber went 0-3 in Tripple O.T.'s this year. That tells you the kind of year they had. Most teams may never in their life, ever even see a tripple O.T. game, not alone three of them in one year & then to loose them all, means Your asking for it... l.o.l.
I wish the Warriors well. They'll need it, & who knows, they may be the Cheifs yet!!!
