Ok, so pitt gets one big win, and though i give them credit for that, they're worldbeaters now?
Pat White got hurt again. What happens when the most-injury prone quarterback in America misses most of the game due to injury? They lose.
Pitt caught an over-confident West Virginia team at the right time, and the way this season has played out, I wasn't too surprised on the upset.

There is absolutely no way that will happen. One win over an overrated rival with their backup quarterback does not turn around a program. With the country knowing about McCoy now, Bostick better learn how to play like a Division 1-A quarterback, otherwise opponents will put 8 in the box on McCoy and make Bostick beat them, which he hasn't proved yet.Crimson09Crazy wrote: calling this right now....Panthers 10-2 at the very least next season

Im liking Pitt's chances next year Im thinking the 101st edition of the brawl will be for BCS implications
im calling it how i see it Pitt is losing maybe 4 players that made a difference this year and returning 4 players from injury that make a difference the pieces are in place McCoy is the real deal expect more of the same and im hoping that Bill Stull will be doing the Quarterbacking next year as Pat Bostick will take his redshirt

Stull didn't look overly impressive when he was in there.
I'm sorry but I just don't see it. Maybe the Panthers will make a bowl game, but nothing like a BCS game.
I'd still take West Virginia in that conference next year, with White and Slaton returning and Devine in his second year. As long as White doesn't get hurt, they should win the conference.
I'd take South Florida, Louisville, UConn, and maybe Rutgers before I would mention Pitt as a contender in the Big East.

South Florida will be good and we got them in Tampa.
But Louisville? i dont think Kragthorpe has that team together at all if Petrino coached this team this year they would have been 10-2?and with the majority of Petrino's players still there....not their year
Rutgers we got them at home and Rice could be in the NFL not to mention their D will be losing a lot?
Eventually the fact that we have much better talent then UConn will be a factor
overall you could make a case for 5 teams to finish second in the big east after WVU
Pitt
USF
Rutgers
Louisville
UConn
aby team could emerge but bar none Pitt has the most talent of all those teams and i hope the coaches realize it

"Stull didn't look overly impressive when he was in there"?????? C'mon retro, he only played in the first half of the opening game. What could you possibly judge from that?
