Ridge is searching for games for next season and they may have to travel to Dubois and Clearfield for games. Should have went to the MAC...

this thread really isn't about ridge looking for games, it's more about the district alignment.

How would you do just throw away everything the PIAA has and start over?

Thats how i would tackle it but the likelyhood of it happening is very low because of the Philly public and catholic has just been formed and i think that they probably went that to settle in before any big changes

It probably isn't a good idea for Somerset to try to go back to District 5 based on the current classifications. These numbers are transitory, and will likely change again the next time the census is taken. What would happen if Somerset went back up to AAA and North Star dropped back to A in 2010? Besides, as HR said, it would be a difficult process to go through.
If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.

Good Point JG! It would never be a good idea for a school to make a long range decision (like changing districts or leagues) based on a short term (One cycle in classifications) situation.

Philly Catholic League, even though some of them are geographically located in PIAA District 1, will become part of PIAA District 12.
