I have heard from several sources that PJ Brett has a secondary injury and could be out the remainder of the year.

As expected the semifinal matches today were more heavily contested than the finals. An individual match point here or there could have changed the entire dual and there were plenty of matches that were that tight. It easily could have been North Star and Ridge in the finals. Northern did a great job of making things more respectable against Bedford this time around. Congratulations to all on a great weekend of wrestling.

bedford gets a first round bye and i think wrestles the winner of D7 2nd and D3 2nd...but don't quote me on that

Ouch! If I'm not mistaken, Shady Side knocked off WPIAL AAA runner-up Kiski Area in a dual tournament.

I talked to Pj very recently...he thought hed be out longer untill he talked to a specialist...He will probably wrestle in the ridge match..it all depends on how he feels.

It's a shame that they won't have him for state duals. He could make a major difference.
