Lifehunts,

I thought they did pretty good.. (Two) of those guys where from the W.P.I.A.L., not sure where the other one was from ? I'm asuming same district? They left them play hard~nosed basketball, for the most part... Greensburg Central is a good team, but Bishop McCort's just plain better.. More balance through out their defense... You hate to see either team loose when getting to this point in time, but someone has to step a side :(

I've seen both officials many times this year, being that I live down here, in W.P.I.A.L. land... For the most part, they do the guys games... 8)

I'm glad that they did have W.P.I.A.L. refs, because they'll let them play a lot more physical of a game.. & McCort was up for the challenge of playing hard too...

I don't know where these Catholic schools get their kids year in, & year out, but they sure are coached well ... Bishop McCort's strategy was a good one, in the fourth quarter.. Being that there's "NO" (35) or (30) second-clock in H.S. Sports, you have to play smart keep away basketball.. & that, they sure did...

Greensburg Central Cath. is soon going to start getting an (inferiority complex), playing all those District # 6 Girls teams & getting beat every year in the Interdistricts ... It's almost like they take turns hammering up Central Cath. every year...
Westmont's lady's worked them over two-years in a row, now McCort's taking shots at them... :o

Congrats to both schools, on playing good hoops

The refs get an (-A)from Me... There's no such thing as an (A+).....

Unconfirmed Internet report (that sounds legit):
Northern Cambria 41, Girard 30

Where will NC-BM II be?
War Memorial? UPJ? Central Cambria? St. Francis?

My guess on the sites?

NC-McCort at UPJ or Cent. Cambria

Steel High-GM....This one is tricky....last year Susquehanna Twp. and Grove City (similar matchup geographically) played at Somerset but I don't see that happening again (Gym is way to small) so it seems that anything from Greensburg to War Memorial to Altoona and even IUP might be pretty neutral....Forget State College which is much closer for Steel-High.

If The Cambria County War Memorial wasn't so close for McCorts team, that would be a great place for a Western final...

& McCort has already played on that back-drop / big floor....

So! It looks like U.P J.may be the place :?: ...

CC is too small and St Francis asks for too much money. I would like IUP.

I'd be fine with UPJ just unsure if the PIAA will put the game at McCort's location.

As my understanding the PIAA looks to not use the same place twice is a sense that...Northern Cambria played at UPJ but Bishop McCort didn't. So they wont give NC the advantage of having played their already. But like in the boys AA Jeanette played at Hempfield in the first round North Catholc played their in the 2nd round...so their was no advantage for either squad. Soo the game could take place there.

BM already played NC at the War Memorial. Why not there? double header with McLane and Steel-High would be ideal
