To me, Ohio State is the perfect fit for Tyrell. Obviously, they have both good football and baskettball teams, both sports he will still be playing. He has a good opportunity to play on both teams and make a positive impact on both, and after a few national championship appearances and no title in the past few years, Ohio State will need the extra boost, but im not saying one player will make the difference, im just saying its a good fit. good luck to him, but now PSU will be real screwed

Please explain to me how PSU will be "real screwed"? Clark will start at QB this year, and then Devlin will be there after that. PSU was not like Michigan when it was a "beauty or bust" situation. PSU will be fine this year, and next year, and the year after that.

Did anyone else think that it was rather poor recruiting judgment for JoePa to not walk out in his backyard to BJC two weekends ago to see Pryor play when he was still uncommitted and (for all anyone knew) still interested in PSU?

I was talking to a few folks from Jeannette after their "BIG~WIN" & they said, that Joe-Pa wasn't allowed to go there & Suck up to him, because of recruiting violations  I'm not sure (IF) that falls under that type of ordinance or not ?
They ( Jeannette Fans) also said, that Joe-Pa sent him a hand~written letter, which he was allowed to do... :|

I can't see where it would be a recruiting violation ? Heck! you should be allowed to go to a public place & watch a game of your choice, without being chastized... but Hey! maybe someone else wants to comment on the rules & regulations ???

Chops. Its all said and done now that he is wearing red and white, but if you want a reply on the recruiting thing I can do that much. I'm sure at one point collegiate coaches were aloud to go to public places to watch a game but at one point abused those privileges so that rule was enforced (kind of like the lady that sued the RV company because her RV could not steer itself on cruise control). I am done with the recruiting process myself, but I know that the coaches weren't aloud to come on the field at any time for soccer. They had to drop cards off with parents and they were not aloud to watch games that I participated in outside of the school program. My guess is that AAU basketball players have those same rules unless they are attending a camp. If anybody has some basketball insight on the recruiting process that would be nice.

You are correct Chops... I saw the same thing. It was a quiet period and the Penn State staff was not allowed to be in touch with him during the time when the state finals were taking place at the BJC.

I'm not sure of any other PSU coaching sitings at BJC, but Jerry Sandusky sat right behind me for the Jeanette game.

He seemed to enjoy some of the entertaining, athletic moves of T. Pryor.

Does anyone else remember when Jeanette played Bedford 4 years ago at UPJ and the Harris bros tried to match up with the then man-child Pryor as a freshman?

He has certainly grown into a man's body since then.
