Good point James. BM never has had the biggest line in the LHAC but the quick traps and pulls usually works out. D is always a staple in the BM system. I think they return enough guys and have enough depth to return one of the top defenses in the LHAC. My only concern for BM is at the TE/DE positions. Those positions are some of the hardest to teach/learn (esp in a even front look on D). However, I am sure there are seniors itching for a shot. Valcheff, if still playing TE/DE will create mismatches all night long, but a team effort will make up for it. Im just confused on where all this offensive power is comming from for Westy?? I cant even name off the top of my head who the WRs will be nor who will be an effective RB? Ill take a solid WR/RB core and a experienced line over a huge (possibly overweight line) and some other guys any day of the week!

My prediction... BM 31 - Westy 13

PS Im not hating, i live in Westmont and it hasnt been since the Westy v. Tyrone game in '00 that ive seen a decent game up there! Good luck to both teams.

to play the true false game a little bit more......Westmont seniors did not beat the mccort seniors....it ended in like a 14-14 tie.

Also. Westmonts best player transfered to McCort. And Why does this coach deserve anymore optimism then the previous ones. The Westmont football job is the toughest in the LHAC.Why..because the talent is there.....but so are the politics. And at anytime last year did Westmont even appear to be in the game. When they scored a TD on the third team?their top threats in Khuri and Merriman are gone.

I think Westmont will be better then last year. but not by much. They have this big line everyone keeps talking about.and they are good. But the skilled positions are very limited. Keklak and McKloskey are good players but how else are they going to score? I can see them maybe holding down mccorts offense for a half in this game. But i dont see how they will ever move the ball consistently.

McCort will win this one 35-10.
