REALITY

Post by vman »

Will race be an issue in this campaign?...... a Rasmussen poll reports that Barack is beating McCain among black voters 94 to 1....HELLO!

And my anti BHO rants have nothing to do w/ race....he!!, I'd vote for JC Wattts, Thomas Sowell or even Colin Powell over Mc Cain

Any one ever read Sowell's 'Black Rednecks & White Liberals' or 'Ethnic America'? Good stuff....very provocative! But I digress, I wish to talk of CHANGE....& if this Marxist is elected here is the real CHANGE you will see:

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples) McCain does not
propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you?
If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your
home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA 39.6%

How will this affect you?
If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be pa ying nearly 4 0% of the money earned on taxes if Obama become president.
The experts predict that ' higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA
(reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will more than double!
How does this affect you? No explanation needed. This is pretty straight forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses, farms and ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating, gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts and last but not least....

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

Its not official but the Messiah is talking about choosing John Kerry as a VP. Can you possibly think of the reality of those two running the most powerful country in the world? I think I have to drink more and start using smack again.

There is a certain irony to calling a topic "Reality" and filling it with false information. Apparently there is another bogus email making the rounds. I understand that there are reasons why someone would not want to vote for Barack Obama. What I don't understand is why some conservatives (supposedly the party with morals and ethics) feel the need to spread the lies.

How about voting record for reality: Although not made known very much by his opponent and certainly not his supportive news media, here are some of the votes cast by BHO during his 123 days he was actually present in the senate chambers and available to act as an elected senator (as found on the web) and some other important facts:

ABORTION
* He voted against banning partial birth abortion
* He supports abortion on demand

NATIONAL SECURITY AND FOREIGN POLICY
* He opposed the Patriot Act.
* He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without preconditions
* He voted YES on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees
* He has said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations
* He has publicly vowed to cut-and-run in Iraq. (Though he now says it may take a few more months)
* Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded.

SECOND AMENDMENT
* He voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers.
* He supports banning gun ownership.

TAXES, SOCIAL SECURITY, HEALTH-CARE AND MINIMUM SALARY
* He voted NO on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax.
* He voted NO on repealing the 'Death' Tax.
* He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax.

You forgot to add that he twice voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection act.
