Lets clear things up a bit
There has been a lot of conversation on here about how conference's are stacking up. So I have no class tonight or tomorrow so I decided to waste a little of my eve. at college and do some research. The only way to measure conferences in my opinion is to what they have done against other BCS conference teams.
So here are the conference standings:
Conference/Number of teams/record/percentage
Big Ten/11/5-5/.500
Big 12/12/7-7/.500
Big East/7-7/.500
ACC/10/7-7/.500
PAC 10/10/5-6/.455
SEC/5-6/.455
I did this fairly quickly and I know I have 1 game wrong somewhere because I have 2 more loses than wins but the point I am making is lets stop acting like the Big 12 and SEC is like playing in the NFL and rest are glorified high school teams. It is pretty dang close to parity in college football major conferences right now and just because ESPN acts like certain teams are better than others doesn't always mean that they are.

The Big Ten is 4-4 vs the SEC the last 3 years. Big Ten is 7-7 vs the SEC the last 5 years. Big Ten is 14-13 vs the SEC the last 10 years.

I am a Texas fan for all sports. How about you? Oh, PSU sucks at basketball, so screw that sport. You're a big Duke fan. Oh wait, does PSU have a baseball team? You don't even know. Kyle Russell would hit homeruns all over PSU every day of the week. That doesn't matter, though. You only care about football. Yet, YOU'RE A REAL FAN. YOU ATTENDED A GAME.

Ham, do you not realize some people go to college? How in the hell am I suppose to get to Texas after class on a Friday and be back for class on a Monday? Also, where am I going to get the money for this? Once again, I am in college. I watch every minute of every game and follow Texas sports like it's my job. How does this make me a poser?
