Pitt actually sells out their bowl allocations

Associated Press --

For the first time since Fudge Fazio was leading the Pitt hey-day with 8-4 records, Pitt has been invited to a bowl game. The Panthers (7th place in conference of 8, only team worse is perennial NC title contenders South Florida) are headed to Old El Paso and are looking to cap off a season of perceived success.

"We know how well Pitt travels," said Sun Bowl spokesman Hector Alvarez. "We allocated them 50 tickets and we are pleased to announce Pitt has sold them all." The university has purchased all 50 seats for members of the Panther band, many of whom admittedly don't even want to go. "My parents called and said Pitt made it to some additional game? I always thought only good teams were invited to bowls. I'm not sure why we have to go," said Jimmy Fritz a Pitt tuba player. "It just seems kinda dumb to go watch this team lose again. I'm not being negative, I'm just saying."

"Oh, I'm not sure. El Paso is a real place? I thought Coach made this all up so we would feel good about ourselves, like we accomplished something," said supposed Heisman contender LeSean McCoy.

Pitt has already received their bowl gifts, which amount to about $14 per player. Each player and coach was given a crate of Old El Paso salsa and $2 dollars spending money at the border markets. Pitt LB Scott McKillop said, "There's a lot of guys coming up with potential ways to spend our extra money, but I think most of us are just gonna buy some chips to eat the salsa. I don't know. My Gram wants me to save it, because we all know that even though I'm the leading tackler in the nation, I'm listed as the 86th best LB in this upcoming draft."

Was that a negative post about Pitt??

Last time I was in El Paso was a while ago ...and last I knew: I was not officially allowed back w/in city limits....but boi, had fun @ Kiki's Mexican restaurant; gotta try the Poblano Soup...went downhill after dinner; then this hot tamale I'm with gets on bar Image

...then Vman on bar; then it gets ugly; well you know what they say: 'whatever happens in El Paso stays in El Paso" hasta luego
I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."
