Congratulations to Notre Dame on a 7-6 season and its 247th National Title. I would assume with the win they will be pre-season #1 in 2009.

Can anyone sense some jealousy from the frost bitten lion?? I also have to think the same about psu....where are they gonna be ranked next year? And we all know they get no respect and are NEVER over rated!

Penn State will be Big Ten favorites and a top 10 team. Now, will they be that way at the end of the year? Me no think so!

Tom Lemming just reported on CSTV that every Rivals Top 250 player has given a verbal to
Notre Dame. NBC has canceled its entire prime time lineup for two weeks just
to cover the return to glory.

Yep, pure jealousy......btw, didn't ND beat psu a couple years back. Not bad for such a bad team seeking a return to glory.

Sure did. Who won the last matchup between PSU and Notre Dame?

psu won that game if memory serves me correctly. But if ND is as bad and overrated as you nitters say then what does that say about psu if ND beat them not so long ago?

And if ND is that bad then psu SHOULD kick the living $h!+ out of them and not make a big deal about it!!! That should be expected since psu is a national powerhouse and ND isn't.

Frosty makes ND's win out to be some great thing (or at least he thinks that is what everyone else is doing). It is a building block to next year. I have been to most of psu opening home games vs. some pretty bad teams. I can't believe my ears, listening to the fans each time they are thumping these poor schools. They already pencil them into the national title each year, after their annual beatings of the lil sisters of the poor. I especially loved the year they had that white qb that was the next great white hype. I forget his name but I think he became a famous 'on line' poker player. After the 1st game his senior season, all the nitters had him winning the Heisman.

Dont want to get into a pissing contest here. But even psu gets a little overhyped about things, not just the Irish.

Zach Mills was that qb's name that was gonna lead joepa to the promised land. I hope he is making his mint at 'on line' poker. Boy that psu degree sure did him good.

Just face it: No other team in college football gets as over-hyped as the Irish (except for perhaps Wisconsin in the pre-season). They have their own network that trumpets them week after week, they suck off the Big East for a bowl bid while not being a member of their conference, and they throw coaches under the bus in a style that reminds me of the Yankees of the 1980's, unless we are talking about Fat Tuna of course.

Every dog has its day, and I guess when a program had the longest bowl losing streak in D1 history, they had to win at some point in time.
