Oklahoma vs. Florida

Post by deliverance »

Can someone explain to me why Bob Stoops would continue to call run play after run play when he hasn't done that all year? I can see why the man can't win BCS games anymore. Why would you change what got you where you are? It's crazy. They had three carries in a row that were 15+ yard gains. I get that. What did a running back do besides that? When you have the best quarterback in the nation, you may want to ride him. Thanks for giving me a laugh, Bob. Maybe you'll win another BCS game one of these days. The BCS voters should be very proud of themselves.

I gotta say Florida's defense definitely kept them in this game. It easily should have been 21-7 at one point, but the defense held strong on goal line stands, and that wacky interception. Good job Gators.

I think it's about time that Oklahoma gets slammed by the media in a similar fashion as to how Ohio State has been. This is now the fourth straight BCS loss for Oklahoma. I wonder how many hours on ESPN this will be discussed and debated. My hunch is about zero.

frosty, that's why I don't understand why they got so much love at the end of the season. Oklahoma has continually played awful games in the BCS at the end of the season year after year. They still made the National Championship because they could run the score up on teams. When will people realize that's not what matters? Oklahoma had a nice team and a very good season, but they should not have been in the National Championship.
