2010 class could be monsterous.
Also love how Rivals continues to slight Penn State because Farrell and Dienhart (2 of the site's upper brass) hate Paterno.
John Urschel, despite being 1st team all state, despite winning the state's lineman award, despite being named defensive MVP in his conference, despite a couple other D-1 offers, despite his obvious size and speed, is still listed as a ZERO STAR prospect.
Jordan Hill, despite his obvious size and speed, and despite people saying he's hands down the top prospect in the entire state of PA, is a 2-star prospect.
Mark Arcidiacono, despite being named 1st team all state, making the Big 33 game, despite having offers from Notre Dame and Florida, he is a 2 star player.
Gary Gilliam, despite ungodly size and speed, SECOND TEAM ALL AMERICAN HONORS, is a 2-star prospect.

I agree 100% and that is why I give rivals very, very little of my time for recruiting news. Paul Jones will still be able to play for two years if they redshirt him his freshman year. Lookout for the Nittany Lions. Also they give Newsome very little love even though he may have been the most valued recruit in the mid-Atlantic.

Rivals can't be perfect as no recruiting service can be. I saw many of their 4 and 5 star recruits play in the Under Armour game and many of them lived up to their billing. I guess we will find out in a few years whether they were right or wrong about PSU's recruits. To become a 5 star recruit, you have to be a great player the whole time you are in high school. As far as a 4 star, you have to have at least one spectacular year. They can just as easily be wrong as they are right, but it would be difficult for me to bad mouth a site such as Rivals. They do a great job overall.
