****Keep Sam Shuss in your prayers....****

Earlier today local sports enthusiast and Gazette editor Sam Shuss was injured in a fall and was taken to Pittsburgh for emergency care. I have no further details of what happened, but we'll try to keep you posted here when anything is found out. Sam is well known in our area for his work as an educator, sports writer, and radio announcer. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

All I know at this point is that Sam fell and hit his head. He was taken to Bedford, then to Altoona, and finally on to Pittsburgh.

He has a fractured skull and spotting inside his skull, but he's recovering rather well from what I've heard. Still, the prayers are needed very much.

X-Man, it said in the Gazette today that he might be out as soon as tomorrow.
