PSU was actually shooting pretty well but Purdue never slowed down from wire to wire.

PSU is on the bubble, but I think they are in. They had some big wins in the Big 10. It's a shame they didn't schedule 3-4 decent teams in their non-conference schedule. I still think they're deserving of making the tournament and get a 12 seed.

After several hours of in depth, scientific analysis my conclusion re UPS Hoops: they still suck & the Big 10 was horrid this year........even more obvious than the downturn in FB, this conferences' BB programs have back -slid!!

PSU ended the game last night with an 8-0 run. Maybe that momentum will help carry them into the first round of the NIT.

That's too bad St Johns and DePaul couldn't land a few upsets over highly overrated Pitt. That would have put Pitt in the NIT as well, and since we all know what happens to Pitt in early rounds of ANY tourney, that would have guaranteed Penn State a first round win.

I'm really surprised. None of you goofs have posted this yet: "Well, its okay to lose to West Virginia, because thats the only game in town there, and the people all root for them by default."
