Saw in Monday's T-D that Andy Smithmyer from Altoona is on Delweld's roster. Anyone know how they're swinging that?

Teams can have anyone on their roster that is of age from anywhere in the country.
Re: AAABA starts!
I seen Fees got hit a little bit last night again Delweld... Roberts atleast was hitting him a double and a homerun.... How about martella's though this year, they are looking pretty good!

Re: AAABA starts!
Fees gave up three or four hits, I believe, in five innings, two to Roberts. No shame in that. That kid can mash. Martella's looks excellent right now and the Renegades look sort of funky but there's a lot of baseball to be played. Several teams are still waiting for high school and college players. Whose pitching stays healthy? Who peaks at the right time? Delweld is still the champ til someone beats 'em in the playoffs. Stay tuned.
Re: AAABA starts!
Some early analysis from AAABA
Martellas very disciplined and well coached. Good defense and playing Team baseball
Delweld Loads of potential and a serios threat on any given night
Principal Down this year with a good pitcher or two but not real consistent
Highland Regional Couple Good pitchers but not enough hitting. Cant build any continuity with 4 different managers in 6 games. Shame is that some of these kids are going to have to suffer through a long season.
Roxbury Has shown some signs of being a decent team. Had a real nice 14 hit game the other night.
Renegades havent seen them to make a decent analysis

and didn't fees strikeout roberts when he faced him just last week? you win some, you lose some.Jtwnbaseballguy wrote:Fees gave up three or four hits, I believe, in five innings, two to Roberts. No shame in that. That kid can mash.
Re: AAABA starts!
i never was bragging anybody up... i am a fan and not loyal to any team, fees is a great pitcher... Every hall of fame pitcher gives up hits, and every hall of fame hitter will strike out!
Re: AAABA starts!
Delweld seems to be the team that will have the most depth like always in the playoffs..while Martellas is the most consistent so far..Roxbury Creamery looks like they have a good hitting team and a shot at the 4th seed while Principle and The Bulldogs are struggling early with lack of pitching depth..but its only week 2 of the summer season so anything can happen
