Man i've missed you ol patsy girl, its been a long 7 months (#?)
PROPS to Somerset on the huge win. I thought that would be a close one the whole way. I was also surprised to see the Richland-CC game so close. Time will tell how these teams shape out, but good job to CC fightin' till the end.

Somerset stomps Heights. Cambria Heights looked like a completely different team since the last 2 scrimmages. Vescovi threw the ball well and made some plays. Seemed like 15 dropped passes! Somerset a 2009 surprise? Trevor Neimeic ran all over the Heights D. They seemed like they were playing touch football.

Highlanders signal caller Caleb Vescovi was picked off twice and sacked twice, and on Heights' first possession of the second quarter, he fumbled at the Eagles' 2.
Enough of the "Vescovi played well but the rest of the team stunk" routine! Still tired of it from last year. The whole TEAM played poorly. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

Re: LHAC Week 1.
Both INTS were tipped in the air and not his fault. He got crushed the last one. Fumble was his fault all the way however. The team playing poorly was an understatement. They all sucked to keep it mild. Vescovi didn't do great no matter his fault for some plays or not.
Re: LHAC Week 1.
Well I think he had 200 in first 3 qtrs. & I believe PC ran for 400....I'm telling ya, WH was significantly better/more talented last yr...vman wrote:If PC has any semblance of a line Newton will have 250 yds & be on the bench eating hot dogs (ala Babe Ruth) early in the 4th Qtr.SpeakerOfTheTruth wrote:That talent that you are all saying that Westy lost, went 3-7....Yea they lost a few athletes but they didnt play together well just by watching the games...just cuz a team may not have any big name athletes does not mean they will not have a good season..

Ok, Newton is a great back....but westy didn't do a horrible job of stopping him for the first 3 quarters...yea he has 200 yards, but he also had a crap load of carries...Westy just broke down mid 3rd quarter...Also coach fetzer did a good job coaching...PC will have a good season but don't count westy out yet
Re: LHAC Week 1.
1-9 or 2-8. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see this year turning out too well for the Hilltoppers. They don't even have the police and firetruck escort to the field anymore! Sad.SpeakerOfTheTruth wrote:...but don't count westy out yet
Re: LHAC Week 1.
Saying that is doing the complete opposite of your name!!! Best case scenario 2-8 and maybe 3-7, and if they went 0-10 I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.SpeakerOfTheTruth wrote:but don't count westy out yet
Re: LHAC Week 1.
Again, not getting on Westy but their studs are underclassmen & they are thin on the lines;will be better next yr & thefollowing one.
