I have been thinking about by opinion as OU as the 3rd best program, and OU's performance Saturday, since Saturday. When you consider the RBs OU has, and the depth they have, and their performances in big games... You simply cannot chalk this up as anything short of piss-poor coaching. Even with a back-up QB, OU should have beaten BYU by 20 points. And that's even taking into consideration that BYU is really good. But they aren't great. That back-up QB for Oklahoma was clueless. Nothing but unpreparedness and bad coaching. That staff had 8 months to think about how to beat BYU's offense.

Gresham is done for the season. That's a huge blow for the Sooners. Bradford has his work cut out for him to be healthy by the Red River Shootout, but I would be shocked to not see him play. Miami may beat them if he's not back for that one, too.

That Jorgensen kid at BYU is very good, but OU is having bigtime problems on the offensive line. I didnt think those new starters would be struggling like they did against BYU. The RB depth at OU is just as good as it is at USC, but it doesn't matter how nice your car looks if they engine won't turn over. They are conceivably looking at an 8 or 9 win season this year. Texas is going to kill Oklahoma. With or without Bradford.
